The best kind of breakfast

The breakfast is the most important meal of the day as you are coming from several hours of sleeping and haven’t eaten anything in ideally 8 hrs. 

Before going vegan I was NOT a fan of eating sweet things in the morning. I regularly had eggs for breakfast or cream cheese toast with black coffee so it was really strange for me to transition from that to sweet fruits or fruit smoothies in the morning. 

Now a days It’s even stranger for me to have salty cooked meals in the morning, and even though I eat tofu eggs from time to time or avocado toast I much prefer having raw fruits in the morning to start my day.

Fruits are not only great calorie sources they are also great for hydration. You should always start your day with a glass of water but, after having that, the next best thing is to eat easy to digest meals like raw fruits or smoothies. 

 

The best way I can explain how having fruit in the morning makes you feel is ACTIVATED. 

Our body works on sugars and the sugars that come from fruit are unprocessed and easy for the body to use for your benefit. This gives you instant energy without the feeling of it going away afterwards like coffee usually does, and also hydrates your body which helps your digestive system start the day the best way possible. This will reduce bloating, constipation, and fatigue.

If you are starting your health journey, even if it seems weird at first, I encourage you to start your day with fruits. You don’t even have to be fully vegan to see an improvement in your health by eating this way for breakfast.
